Also in the news, a manatee was recently sighted drinking from a fresh water pipe in waters near Warwick. They think it might be the same manatee who was recently sighted in Manhattan, also drinking from fresh water pipes and otherwise lollygagging about. He travels alone and seems to be sightseeing. As the article below rudely points out, however, he only visited Rhode Island for one day. Apparently, the charms of Warwick did not interest him.

I had a big-ass, very scientific Marine Biology Coloring Book when I was a kid, and I was obsessed with all the venomous fish mentioned in this article. Whenever we went to the beach I would warn my parents not to "step on any stonefish or you'll be dead in 2 hours." I must have been a charming child to take on vacation.

Anything that goes by the name "fuzzy dwarf" and then poisons you with its venomous spikes is awesome. Well done, lionfish.
